Yoga gave me the confidence to drive again. It gave me the courage to get married, to build a new life in France. It dissolved the creative block that had held me back for years.

Yoga means ‘ union ‘. Yoga is often described as a science created by ancient sages to unite human consciousness with the infinite universe. A beautiful idea but, for most of us, an almost impossible destination.

What I do know is this: yoga brings something valuable to anyone who is disciplined enough to begin… and to keep showing up.

Contrary to popular belief, yoga was never created to make your body flexible. More than 5.000 years ago, it was developed as a path to free human beings from fear and from the chaos of their monkey minds.

Did it help me?

My reptile brain is still there. I’m still highly sensitive. My character didn’t suddenly change.

What did change is the way I live with it.

And yes I became incredibly flexible…ohhh I was sooo stiff. My body feels free, light, and capable.

Yoga is a 5,000-year-old technology for mastering the mind. Of course, the world has changed enormously since then. So yes I adapted yoga a little. I made it more funky, more friendly, and easier to bring into everyday life. And if I say yoga, I automatically say Ayurveda, this combined with Western healthcare, I am sure your well-being will improve.

Yoga is not about touching your toes. It’s about what you learn on the way down (touching your toes hihi).

On an individual, social, and global level, yoga offers a balanced way of living, one that can become the foundation of a healthier and more harmonious society.

First, I'd like to say something important. Please never feel that you have to dive into the philosophy of yoga—unless you genuinely want to. If practicing yoga once a week makes you feel good, that's absolutely enough. If you practice every day, you'll naturally experience even more of its benefits.Yoga is not about becoming the perfect yogi. It's about finding what works for you.If you're curious about Patanjali's Eightfold Path, you may find the following information interesting.

Every morning, I start with ASANA'S (yogapractice 'postures') on the mat which feels so good.

Often we focus on the breath which is called PRANAYAMA & then there is this PRATYAHARA, DHARANA, DHYANA & SAMADHI.. the ' road ' to meditation and enlightment. And also in this samadhi you need to do the washes. About this eightfolded path: YAMAS NIYAMAS ASANAS PRANAYAMAS PRATYAHARA DHARANA DHYANA SAMADHI.

At first glance, it may seem distant or abstract, but it really isn't. Think of it as a collection of practical guidelines for living with more ease, awareness, and joy.
